SSE-01C Safety Door Switch: Ensuring True Mechanical Locking Status
In automated equipment, a locking signal does not always mean the safety door is physically secured.
During operation, the actuator may not be fully inserted into the lock head. In this situation, the electrical locking command has been completed, but the door may still be pulled open, creating a potential safety risk.
To address this challenge, Shansen developed the SSE-01C Safety Door Switch with lock position monitoring. The switch can detect whether the actuator has been correctly engaged and whether the door is actually locked, providing more reliable safety feedback for machine control systems.
